Braces and Orthodontic Treatment Options We Provide in Inglewood

Every smile is different, so we offer a full range of orthodontic treatment options and match each patient to the approach that fits their needs, lifestyle, and bite. During your comprehensive orthodontic evaluation, we review your teeth alignment, jaw balance, and goals before recommending anything.

Our braces and teeth straightening options are:

  • Traditional metal braces: durable, precise, and effective for correcting crowded, overlapping, or crooked teeth and more complex bite issues.
  • Ceramic braces: tooth-colored brackets that blend in for a lower-profile look while still delivering reliable results.
  • Clear aligners, including Invisalign: removable aligners that straighten teeth discreetly and let you eat and brush normally.
  • Bite correction and jaw alignment: targeted treatment for overbite, underbite, and crossbite that affect chewing and oral function.
  • Early (Phase 1) and airway-focused care: guiding growth in younger patients while teeth and jaws are still developing.

For patients who want the least visible option, clear aligners are ideal. In cases where crowding or a jaw discrepancy is more significant, metal braces give us the most control. Not sure which is right for you? A short exam and 3D dental scan give us the answer, and we explain the trade-offs in plain language.

Why Patients Choose Toothopia for Orthodontics in Inglewood

Patients choose Toothopia Dental because orthodontic care here is personalized, precise, and genuinely comfortable. Instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, you get a customized treatment plan built around your teeth, your schedule, and the results you hope to see.

What sets our orthodontic care apart:

  • Digital orthodontic technology: iTero scans, panoramic X-rays, and 3D imaging replace messy molds and map your treatment accurately.
  • Personalized orthodontic treatment: every plan is tailored to your bite, your goals, and how quickly you hope to see results.
  • Care for all ages: we treat children, teens, and adults, from Phase 1 orthodontics to adult smile transformations.
  • A calm, judgment-free environment: nervous patients get extra time, clear explanations, and a pace that feels comfortable.

When treatment is built around you, staying on track is easier, and the results tend to last.

Our Step-by-Step Orthodontic Treatment Process in Inglewood

Knowing what happens next makes orthodontic treatment far less stressful. Here is how your orthodontic journey typically unfolds:

  1. Comprehensive evaluation: we take a 3D dental scan, panoramic X-ray, and photos to assess your teeth, roots, and jaw alignment.
  2. Custom treatment plan: we map your tooth movements digitally and review your options, timeline, and expected results together.
  3. Fitting your braces or aligners: whether metal braces, ceramic braces, or clear aligners, we place or deliver them and show you exactly how to care for them.
  4. Regular progress visits: short check-ins, usually every few weeks, let us adjust braces or issue your next set of aligners and keep treatment on track.
  5. Retention: once your teeth are straight, a custom retainer protects your new smile so the results hold for years.

Expect mild soreness for a few days after each adjustment; over-the-counter pain relief and soft foods help, and orthodontic wax soothes any spot where a bracket rubs. Most treatment plans run from several months to about two years, depending on the complexity of your case. We give you a realistic estimate at your consultation.

The staff is outstanding, always helpful. Kelly has been a lot of help with keeping my balance straight, lol. She good at what she does. Dr. Michelle does outstanding work, I highly recommend her for all your dental work. My crown fit perfect, the color matched all the rest of my teeth. I’m so pleased with the work that I’ve had done.

I came here because my tooth was hurting. My gum had receded and exposed the root. They told me that my gums were never going to grow back and and that a deep cleaning was required to stop the recession and that later on skin grafting could restore my gums over the root. They also told me I had 12 cavities that needed to be filled. My prior dentist a year earlier told me my teeth were fine. They canceled my regular cleaning, as it was not sufficient for the amount of disarray in my mouth, and took me into a little room to discuss my several thousand dollar treatment solution. The woman there told me that I needed to go to my employer and get the higher level dental insurance so that I would only need to pay about $3k out of pocket. I left in a panic and asked my parents if we had a family history of complete mouth disintegration around age 30. They said no, and advised me to find another dentist. I bought a water pick and spent a few months religiously cleaning my gums and using the fancy mouthwash and my gums grew back over the root and no longer hurts(that advice was thanks to Dr. Google). Then, I found another dentist who took another set of X-rays and was astounded to hear him finish his exam and say “everything looks good, no cavities, just some minor plaque buildup and we’ll get that off right now”. Hope this can help someone else save some hard earned money.

Common Questions About Orthodontics (Braces) in Inglewood

What braces options do you offer for adults at your Inglewood office?

Adults at our Inglewood office can choose from discreet orthodontic options such as ceramic braces and clear aligners, including Invisalign. During your consultation, our team evaluates your teeth alignment, bite, and lifestyle to recommend an option that fits your smile goals and daily routine.

When should my child have an orthodontic evaluation at your Inglewood clinic?

We recommend bringing your child for an orthodontic evaluation around age 7 so our team can assess tooth development, jaw growth, and potential alignment concerns. Early Phase 1 orthodontics may help guide development and determine the right timing for future treatment.

What should I do if my braces or bracket break during treatment at your Inglewood office?

If a bracket breaks or a wire feels uncomfortable between visits, contact our Inglewood team so we can arrange a repair appointment. While waiting, orthodontic wax can help cover any sharp area and improve comfort until you are seen.

What are the costs of orthodontic treatment near me in Inglewood?

The cost of orthodontic treatment in Inglewood depends on factors such as the type of braces or aligners, your treatment needs, and the complexity of your bite correction. During your orthodontic consultation, our team reviews your options and explains what treatment approach is right for your smile.

A personalized evaluation helps you understand the recommended orthodontic plan and the next steps before starting treatment.
