Braces and Orthodontic Solutions Available Through Our Culver City Team
Orthodontic care is not one size fits all, and the right approach depends on your teeth, your bite, and your lifestyle. Our team offers a full range of teeth straightening options so you can correct misaligned teeth in the way that suits you best.
- Traditional metal braces: durable and reliable for correcting crowded, overlapping, or crooked teeth, and a strong choice for complex bite issues.
- Ceramic braces: tooth-colored brackets that blend in for a more discreet look while still delivering steady results.
- Clear aligners and Invisalign: removable, nearly invisible braces that straighten teeth without wires, ideal for adults and responsible teens who want flexibility.
- Bite correction: focused treatment for overbite, underbite, and crossbite that improves both alignment and everyday oral function.
For younger patients, early or Phase 1 orthodontics can guide jaw growth and create room for adult teeth, often simplifying later treatment. Not sure which option fits? Book an orthodontic consultation and we will walk you through the choices.

Advanced Orthodontic Technology at Toothopia Dental in Culver City
Accurate diagnostics are the foundation of predictable orthodontic treatment, and technology lets us plan each case with precision. Before any brackets or aligners are placed, we map your teeth and jaw in detail so the plan matches your anatomy, not an average.
Our diagnostic and planning tools:
- iTero digital scanning: a comfortable 3D dental scan that replaces messy impressions and previews how your smile can change.
- Panoramic X-ray imaging: a full view of tooth roots, jaw alignment, and developing teeth in children.
- Digital orthodontic technology: software that simulates tooth movement, helping us design a customized treatment plan with clear milestones.
This level of detail means fewer surprises and a smoother orthodontic journey. Curious what your scan would reveal? Reach out to schedule a comprehensive orthodontic evaluation.
Why Patients Choose Toothopia for Orthodontic Care in Culver City
Choosing where to straighten your teeth is a long-term commitment, and trust matters as much as technology. Families return to us because care feels personal, honest, and built around real results.
- Personalized orthodontic treatment: every plan starts with a comprehensive evaluation, never a template, so your goals and bite drive the approach.
- Care for every age: from a child's first orthodontic examination to adult orthodontics, we adjust technique and pacing to fit the patient in the chair.
- Comfort at the center: gentle adjustments, clear explanations, and steady communication keep nervous patients at ease throughout treatment.
- Focus on healthy function: we correct bite issues that affect chewing and oral hygiene, not just the look of your smile.
At Toothopia Dental, a straighter smile is treated as part of your overall dental health, not a stand-alone cosmetic fix. Have questions before you commit? We are happy to talk them through at your first visit.
Our Culver City Orthodontic Treatment Process
Starting orthodontic treatment is simpler than most patients expect, and knowing the steps ahead removes much of the worry. From your first visit to your final retainer check, each stage stays clear and predictable. Here is how the orthodontic treatment process typically unfolds with our team:
- Initial consultation and exam: we review your concerns, complete an initial orthodontic examination, and capture a 3D scan and X-rays to understand your bite and jaw alignment.
- Customized treatment plan: we present your orthodontic treatment options, explain timelines, and recommend the approach that best straightens your teeth.
- Fitting your braces or aligners: once you choose, we place your braces or deliver your first set of removable aligners and show you exactly how to clean and care for them at home.
- Regular progress visits: short check-ins every few weeks let us adjust wires or advance aligners as your teeth shift into position.
- Retention phase: after your teeth are aligned, a custom retainer protects your new smile and holds everything in place, so your results last for years.
Most treatment spans several months to a couple of years, depending on the complexity of your case and how quickly your teeth respond.

What Culver City Orthodontic Patients Say About Us
I'm forever grateful for Toothopia and all their whole staff! Every time I come here I feel incredibly welcomed and everyone is so friendly, understanding and kind. A big thanks to Kelly and Georgina! I still have a lot of work to get done on my teeth but today I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Nadia and Victoria for taking care of me today and doing an amazing job on teeth!
I've been traumatized to go to the dentist since I was 12... I finally got dental insurance 4 years ago, but went to another dentist that traumatized me even more.... 4 years later, I found the best dentist I didn't even know existed which was only 7 minutes away from my house... it was like watching heavens door open, not to be dramatic or anything, but I was truly blessed no lie.... my biggest worry was a root canal I haven't covered in 14 years, they fixed that right up, gave me a crown, did my cleaning, filled some old cavity fillings and the price was heaven sent as well with my insurance I could cry... I finally am able to fix my teeth without struggling to choose between having a healthy mouth or buying groceries ...and the front desk is so nice! Everyone is so nice! They remember your face and name it doesn't even feel like im going to the dentist, thank you so much for existing
I came here because my tooth was hurting. My gum had receded and exposed the root. They told me that my gums were never going to grow back and and that a deep cleaning was required to stop the recession and that later on skin grafting could restore my gums over the root. They also told me I had 12 cavities that needed to be filled. My prior dentist a year earlier told me my teeth were fine. They canceled my regular cleaning, as it was not sufficient for the amount of disarray in my mouth, and took me into a little room to discuss my several thousand dollar treatment solution. The woman there told me that I needed to go to my employer and get the higher level dental insurance so that I would only need to pay about $3k out of pocket. I left in a panic and asked my parents if we had a family history of complete mouth disintegration around age 30. They said no, and advised me to find another dentist. I bought a water pick and spent a few months religiously cleaning my gums and using the fancy mouthwash and my gums grew back over the root and no longer hurts(that advice was thanks to Dr. Google). Then, I found another dentist who took another set of X-rays and was astounded to hear him finish his exam and say “everything looks good, no cavities, just some minor plaque buildup and we’ll get that off right now”. Hope this can help someone else save some hard earned money.
