Family Dentistry in Inglewood

Full-service family dental care in Inglewood gives every member of your household, from a toddler's first checkup to a grandparent's denture fitting, one trusted dental home under a single roof. At Toothopia Dental, our approach to family dentistry in Inglewood combines gentle, preventive care with restorative treatments, keeping your family's smiles healthy year after year in a warm, welcoming environment designed to ease dental anxiety.
Because we bring comprehensive dental care together in one place, you never have to juggle different offices for different family members. The same Inglewood team handles everything from routine exams, cleanings, and low-radiation digital X-rays to restorative treatments like fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures, and dental implants, along with gum disease treatment, periodontal maintenance, and protective fluoride and dental sealants. For busy local families balancing work, school pickups, and event-day traffic, combining everyone's care into one office saves real time, whether your child needs a first dental visit or an adult needs a crown.
Booking your household together keeps everyone on the same preventive schedule. Call our office at 310-643-6221 to set up back-to-back appointments for the whole family.
Why Inglewood Families Choose Our Family Dentistry Services
Local families choose us because we treat every patient as a long-term relationship, not a one-time appointment. A consistent dental home means we track each person’s oral health over time and catch small issues before they become painful or costly.
Inglewood is a close-knit, multi-generation community, and we see the same families across the years. That history lets us tailor patient-centered care to real habits, histories, and needs.
What sets our family dentistry services apart:
- Multi-generation dental care that follows children into adulthood and supports seniors
- A warm and welcoming environment designed for comfort-focused dentistry
- Clear treatment explanation, so you always understand your options before deciding
- Personalized dental care planned around each patient’s age and risk factors
One Toothopia Dental patient who first brought her children in for cleanings now schedules her parents’ denture checkups with us too. That continuity is the point of having a family dentist you can stay with.

Our Clinic Approach to Family Dentistry Care in Inglewood
Our approach centers on prevention first: treating problems early and teaching habits that keep teeth healthy between visits. General and family dentistry works best when small steps replace big procedures, and we pair that with honest, pressure-free guidance at every step.
Comfort matters as much as clinical skill, especially for nervous patients and young children. Our team focuses on reducing dental anxiety through calm pacing, gentle dental care, and a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere.
Our approach also includes oral hygiene education for all ages, periodic dental assessments, and early detection of dental issues before they progress. If past discomfort has kept you away, ask us about your comfort options when you book.
Family Dentistry Process for Patients in Inglewood at Toothopia Dental
Knowing what happens at each stage helps remove the uncertainty that often keeps families from seeking care. Here is how a visit with the Toothopia Dental team in Inglewood unfolds:
- Welcome and health review. We begin by discussing your medical history, current concerns, and the goals for each family member so care is tailored from the start.
- Exam and imaging. A thorough dental exam is completed, and when needed, digital X-rays are taken to evaluate what cannot be seen on the surface using low-radiation technology.
- Cleaning. A hygienist carefully removes plaque and tartar buildup, then polishes the teeth and reviews personalized home care during your routine visit.
- Findings and options. We explain everything in clear, simple language and walk you through any recommended next steps without pressure.
- Treatment plan. Together with the Toothopia Dental team, priorities are set, care is sequenced, and follow-up visits are scheduled to fit your routine.
This structure adapts easily from a child’s quick checkup to more involved restorative care, so every visit remains predictable, calm, and unhurried.
Family Dentistry Services for Inglewood Patients of All Ages
All-ages dental care means treatment shifts as your family grows, and our services adapt at every stage. One office can support a child, a teenager, a working adult, and a grandparent without anyone changing providers.
Care by life stage looks like this:
Pediatric dentistry, gentle cleanings, fluoride treatment, dental sealants, and oral hygiene education that builds lifelong habits
Teen dental care with growth and development monitoring and wisdom teeth evaluation
Adult dental care covering exams, fillings, crowns, gum disease treatment, and cosmetic options
Senior dental care and geriatric dental care, including denture support, bone preservation, and periodontal maintenance
Because we track family oral health across generations, we spot patterns early, such as inherited enamel concerns, and adjust to each patient’s age-specific dental needs, from a child’s first dental visit to a senior’s ongoing care.

What Inglewood Patients Say About Us
I'm forever grateful for Toothopia and all their whole staff! Every time I come here I feel incredibly welcomed and everyone is so friendly, understanding and kind. A big thanks to Kelly and Georgina! I still have a lot of work to get done on my teeth but today I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Nadia and Victoria for taking care of me today and doing an amazing job on teeth!
I've been traumatized to go to the dentist since I was 12... I finally got dental insurance 4 years ago, but went to another dentist that traumatized me even more.... 4 years later, I found the best dentist I didn't even know existed which was only 7 minutes away from my house... it was like watching heavens door open, not to be dramatic or anything, but I was truly blessed no lie.... my biggest worry was a root canal I haven't covered in 14 years, they fixed that right up, gave me a crown, did my cleaning, filled some old cavity fillings and the price was heaven sent as well with my insurance I could cry... I finally am able to fix my teeth without struggling to choose between having a healthy mouth or buying groceries ...and the front desk is so nice! Everyone is so nice! They remember your face and name it doesn't even feel like im going to the dentist, thank you so much for existing
I came here because my tooth was hurting. My gum had receded and exposed the root. They told me that my gums were never going to grow back and and that a deep cleaning was required to stop the recession and that later on skin grafting could restore my gums over the root. They also told me I had 12 cavities that needed to be filled. My prior dentist a year earlier told me my teeth were fine. They canceled my regular cleaning, as it was not sufficient for the amount of disarray in my mouth, and took me into a little room to discuss my several thousand dollar treatment solution. The woman there told me that I needed to go to my employer and get the higher level dental insurance so that I would only need to pay about $3k out of pocket. I left in a panic and asked my parents if we had a family history of complete mouth disintegration around age 30. They said no, and advised me to find another dentist. I bought a water pick and spent a few months religiously cleaning my gums and using the fancy mouthwash and my gums grew back over the root and no longer hurts(that advice was thanks to Dr. Google). Then, I found another dentist who took another set of X-rays and was astounded to hear him finish his exam and say “everything looks good, no cavities, just some minor plaque buildup and we’ll get that off right now”. Hope this can help someone else save some hard earned money.
